This was for me 10-15 years ago the
most important information I had seen in my education.
I am 55 now and studied Dr.Robert A Rohm’s
Positive Personality Profiles inside the Amway business
at that time.
Look I could not figure out myself when prospecting folks.
When you are a hammer everything is a nail.
That was and is me except now I have adjusted myself.
Add on the fact that I am 6ft. 6 inches 250 lbs,muscular and look
like a UFC fighter and that scares certain personalities.
More importantly for me I had to figure out how
deal with the softer personalities….What he calls “s” personalities.
I know …there are a few different systems which all
came from the teachings of I think Aristotle.
I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
They are the same though just different ways of defining them.
I have a friend who teaches this now to corporations.
I think I may ask him to do a video.
Important topic.
Balance is absolutely the key Ryan. I just lined up Dani Johnson’s 4 types of people with your Elemental Natures perfectly.
Those motivated by CHALLENGE – Fire, FUN – Air, HELPING OTHERS – Water and ANALYZING – Earth.
There is so much that makes up the individual that the art of staying balanced and mastering the elements in business communication is a huge skill!

I think understanding other people is the most important thing in marketing. This information definetly gives us more insight in human behaviour.
Excellent Ryan. This is of course basic personality types 101.
But it’s always been hard to master for me. Has always seemed
like a lot of work to try to figure other people out when engaging
them and then trying to change my own style, if you will, to match
theirs.
I’ve studied, sort of, at least 3 other approaches to this topic but
none have been as simply and clearly illustrated as this. I like it.
I will work on mastering this finally.

Excellent Ryan. This is of course Personality Types 101. I’ve tryed several times in past to master this information from different sources and packaged in different ways, but without any real success. It always seemed too difficult to try to analyze someone else while engaging them and then try to change my style, if you will, to match theirs. Almost seems a bit phony even.
But your video here is finally a very simple and clear illustration of the topic. I love it. I think I may be able to finally master the concept.

And as some commentators mentioned, there are different pictures being used to describe this. @ Nicholas, this particular picture is not Aristoteles, but derives from the old chinese 4 element theory.
Many wise heads and psychologist refer to this knowledge. I have been teaching this it for over 30 years to my clients and patients, because it is so important to understand it.
Yet not many people think about it. Knowing these principles helps us personally to get into balance with our selves, becoming more aware of why we are the way we are and how to bring us back into our ‘hara’ – the self-centeredness. And it helps us to understand and communicate better with the people around us – be it family, friends, strangers or business partners, customers and prospects.
So I am happy Ryan picked this topic up and can help You all to grow in your life and business, by creating more awareness of who and how we are – and casting a light on our relationships with the option of improving them.
