The market has changed, the industry
has changed, and therefore, so has the way you’ll make your

Now let’s stop for a moment and take an account of what the
market looks like today. We need to find out where we stand
before we can take a specific course of action.
1: The CTA, or Cost To Acquire, a new distributor will
continue to rise.
For the average networker who pursues this business as a hobby,
the cost to acquire a new customer or distributor in the cold
market will continue to rise.
Advertising costs more today. Full page ads that used to cost
$500 now cost $5000. Greater skill sets and knowledge is
required to compete in the online marketing arena, and more
advertising and marketing efforts will be needed to grab the
attention and trust of prospects who are numb to the typical
“work at home and get rich” message.
In the end, more money will need to be spent in order to sponsor
a new rep or customer in the cold market.
2: The LTV or Life Time Value of a new customer or
distributor will continue to decrease.
Before the internet, organizations and companies were protected
by an information “buffer zone” which shielded them from this
onslaught of people, opinions, competitors, and ads.
It’s this buffer zone that allowed relationships to be built,
skills to be learned, and loyalties to strengthen.
But the internet changed all that in the blink of an eye.
Today, building a downline can make you feel like you’re trying
to fill a leaking bucket.
There is no long-term commitment because networkers are only as
loyal as his or her options, and thanks to the internet, their
options are now endless and one click away.
If you consider that a typical rep or customer spends $100 per
month on auto-ship, and that you’re personal commission is 10%,
you’re making $10 per month in residual income.
If it cost you $150 in advertising or leads to acquire that
customer, they’ll need to order product for at least 15 months
before you break even.
When you take into consideration that the average distributor
sticks around and stays on auto-ship for less than 4 months, you
start to run into some big trouble.
Now and in the future, attrition will continue to rise, which
means the Life-Time-Value of a distributor will continue to
decrease. We’re spending more money, to make less in return,

They would be broke instantly. Their income would be gone. That
is NOT a business.
So, what IS your business?
Well, basically, YOU are your business.
You’re name, you’re face, your personality, your words, your
actions, and your energy are your business.
YOU… Serving others, solving people’s problems, the
relationships that you build, and the value you provide to the
world becomes an actual real life commodity that can be traded
for money.
And now you and your business are immune to outside
circumstances and influences. No matter what happens in the
market place, your business will remain intact and able to
produce a profit as long as you choose to.
Did you get that?
When you make “YOU” the issue, and sell yourself, you IMMUNIZE
your business against anything that might happen with your
company and your product, and you attract your prospects to you
through your projection of leadership and service.
I’m sure you remember my four secrets to success:
1. Solving other people’s problems.
2. Your willingness to give without want before you can get.
3. Increasing your value to the world by acquiring knowledge and
skills that others want, but are unwilling to acquire.

a $500 residual check, which will naturally come in time.
It’s a simple fact that 95-99% of the leads you spent money on
to produce will never join your downline, which means that
